W. Dwight Gorall, Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Dwight founded NetWise Data in 2011 and serves as the company’s CEO. He is an accomplished executive-level business professional with a proven 20-plus year track record in business development and sales management, providing the leadership to drive multi-million-dollar revenue streams. Prior to taking an entrepreneurial leap to launch NetWise Data, Dwight held executive-level positions at LexisNexis Risk Solutions/Seisint, Daleen Technologies, Motorola and AT&T.
Dwight has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida. On the off chance Dwight isn’t creating new products and strategic relationships, you will find him spending time with his wife and two sons, fishing, free diving, watching a Gators game or on the golf course.
Richard Blake, Chief Operating Officer
Richard joined NetWise Data in February 2013 as COO and is responsible for daily operations and sales. He has more than 20 years of operational and sales leadership in the data/information services industry.
Prior to joining NWD, Richard was COO of IRBsearch and President of UDT Group. As Senior VP of Sales, Richard led the Seisint/Accurint sales division from its inception in May 2001 through its $775M purchase by LexisNexis in 2004. He has also held various executive-level positions at Access Worldwide, Precision Response, Citibank and AT&T.
Richard earned a BS degree in Management Information Systems and Accounting from Florida International University. He is active in his community, volunteering for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and enjoys his family, two dogs, intelligent political discussions (with his two dogs) and good wine.
T. Brian Jones, Chief Technology Officer
Brian joined NetWise data in 2015 as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and is responsible for driving the direction of technologies that make NetWise a leading data provider. He has a decade of experience with Big-Data Software Design and System Architecture, helping customers make executive-level data-driven decisions.
Prior to NetWise Data, Brian was the founder and CEO of Industrial Interface, which focussed on Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain, and Engineering R&D for US Manufacturing Companies, the Department of Defense, and numerous domestic economic development organizations. In a previous career, Brian worked as a manufacturing engineer designing robotic manufacturing systems for Titleist Golf.
Brian has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, and an MBA from San Diego State University. When not interfacing with computers, Brian can be found tinkering with all manner of engineering projects, as well as engaging in a multitude of offline hobbies including surfing, yoga, volleyball, guitar, piano, and photography.
Chris Powell, VP of Sales Engineering
Chris’ primary responsibility at Netwise is to ensure that Netwise Data continues to evolve one of the best B2B contact and company data sets out there. As co-founder of Industrial Interface, acquired by Netwise Data in September 2015, Chris brings a unique combination of programming and engineering skills with technical sales and business development.
Chris likes to ensure that technologies used are right for the application requirements and likes to work with our customers to steer engineering development in alignment with product development. Chris has a Bachelor’s of Engineering degree focused in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University. In his spare time, Chris enjoys a myriad of outdoor sports and time with his wife and young daughter. Mike Lee, VP of Engineering
Michael joined NetWise Data in 2016, and is responsible for designing and building automated software systems to handle big data. Michael also takes a hands-on approach to investigating new technologies with a mind to revolutionize the space.
Prior to NetWise Data, Michael led business intelligence analytics for Wine.com, where he designed, implemented, and managed new data-driven opportunities. Before that he worked as an independent web developer for start-ups and small businesses.
Michael obtained his BA in Mathematics at University of Berkeley California, where he also studied mechanical, electrical, and nuclear engineering. During his time there, he worked as an automotive installation technician. When Michael is not writing software, he spends his time tuning and modifying cars to take to the local racetrack.
Cam Fortin, VP Product & Marketing
Cam joined NetWise Data in 2016 and is responsible for product development and marketing. Cam comes to NetWise Data with 10 years of marketing, analysis and product experience.
Prior to NetWise Data Cam led product and analytics at Wine.com where he led the charge on personalization, segmentation, recommendation algorithms and new feature development. He also worked as an Associate Consultant at Bain and Company.
Cam has a BA from Dartmouth where he was a Phi Beta Kappa and captain of the Squash team (surpisingly he doesn't like argyle sweaters). When Cam isn't swimming in data he can be found reading nonfiction, playing guitar, running or hiking in the forest with his wife and foraging for wild mushrooms to cook for dinner.
Thomas Judd, SVP Business Development
Thomas Judd joined NetWise Data in 2015 as SVP, Business Development and is responsible for generating revenue and securing data partnerships within the digital ad tech ecosystem. Mr. Judd brings over 20 years of digital sales, marketing and business development experience to NetWise Data. Prior to NetWise Data, he held Senior Executive Management roles at Tiburon Media Group, MyLife.com, eForce Media and Fox Interactive Media where he led and oversaw lead generation, display advertising and site monetization for the company’s online web properties. Before relocating back to California, Thomas previously held sales management positions at Prospectiv and Terra Lycos in New York City. Previous to Terra Lycos, he led business development efforts at Gartner Group and Deja.com. Thomas began his digital career in San Francisco at Sybervision, Inc., where he was responsible for all online sales and marketing for the direct marketing company.
Mr. Judd holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Colorado, Boulder where he played on the Varsity Tennis Team and a Master's in Integrated Marketing from New York University. When not networking with customers or prospects, Thomas enjoys spending time with his wife, three children and Australian Shepherd. He also thrives on playing competitive tennis, stand up paddle boarding on San Francisco Bay and actively supporting the Colorado Buffaloes.
Ned Bigelow, Executive Vice President, Sales & Strategy
Ned joined NetWise Data in August 2018 as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Strategy and is responsible for introducing and deploying the “Farm-to-Table” data strategy across the digital landscape. Ned joins NetWise with 20 years of selling audience-based media to agencies and clients-direct.
Prior to joining the NetWise team, Ned led sales and strategy initiatives with Yahoo! and a handful of mobile start-ups, with one notable acquisition by AOL (Third Screen Media). Most recently, Ned was the Vice President of Sales at Cybba Inc., a Boston based digital marketing and advertising company.
Ned believes his network is his most valuable and cherished asset. Maintaining strong, relevant and transparent relationships allows for a clear understanding of his client’s needs and how NetWise Data relates to their success. He feels as though NetWise is in a unique position to push the industry chaos aside and address transparency and cost in an otherwise inflated and controlled marketplace. When not with his clients, Ned can be found spending time with his family, on the beach, skiing, fishing, exercising or enjoying an adult beverage with his wife after his 4 children have gone to sleep. Ned is most proud of his wife who once dominated a corporate career but is now taking on life’s most challenging job as a mother of a 13-year-old, a 3-year-old, a 2-year-old and a 6-month-old.
Derek Adesso, VP of Business Development
Derek joined Netwise data in 2015 as VP of Business Development, specifically focused on strategic partnerships, channel sales, and product development of the manufacturing company database. Additionally, as the resident “Data Librarian” he is responsible for the curation, organization and management of multiple internal data products.
Prior to Netwise Data, Derek was a founder of Industrial Interface, which provided data and software products to enhance sourcing, supply chain management, sales and marketing, and R&D for companies in the manufacturing industry and U.S. Government.
Derek has a BA in Political Science from Vanderbilt University and a JD from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, remaining a licensed attorney in the State of California so that his friends and family can continue to call him at all hours of the day for free legal advice. Derek also enjoys a nice glass of wine, competing against himself in Chopped challenges in the kitchen, and taking his goldendoodle Jackson to the beach.
Michele LaManna, Director of Operations
Michele joined NetWise Data in January 2014, bringing years of experience and a successful track record in data technology, strategic client management, risk mitigation and marketing. She is responsible for NetWise Data’s Customer Success initiative, designed to consistently provide value and growth within account projects and strategies. Committed to organizational effectiveness she contributes to increased productivity and profitability across all verticals and ensures that clients are served within a secure and dependable environment. Prior to joining NWD, Michele spent 6 years with LexisNexis, in various positions with their Risk and Insurance divisions and has had leadership roles throughout her career. Her BSBA in Marketing is from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, PA, and AS degree from Youngstown State University.
Outside of the office, Michele enjoys quality time with family and friends, yoga, scuba-diving and travel, and cheering for The Ohio State Buckeyes! She loves working with children and volunteers for Child Rescue Coalition.
Jessica Jacobson, Customer Success Leader
Jessica has been with NetWise Data since its inception and heads the Customer Success department. She and her team are responsible for ensuring the satisfaction of clients and maintaining high standards of quality and timeliness in product delivery. NetWise Data is committed to providing the highest level of client satisfaction, and Jessica uses input from our valued customers to work toward continual process improvement and the introduction of new products to meet their needs.
Prior to joining NWD, Jessica was assistant director of the Mortgage Bankers Association of NJ/PA and held positions in a number of areas with Seisint/LexisNexis Risk Management, including client relations and marketing. She holds a BS degree from Binghamton University (SUNY). Jessica enjoys cooking, travel, entertaining friends and family and escaping to lakeside retreats in the Adirondacks when her schedule permits. She also volunteers for the Susan Ross Foundation.
